Cycle: Wine Trail 18 km
GirlsTrek will meet you at Adelaide airport and whisk you away Nurioopa in the Barossa Valley. The travel time is approximately one and a half hours.
We collect our mountain bikes and enjoy a leisurely ride to the historic village of Angaston for lunch. The bike trail is combination of the Wine Trail - a restored rail trail as well as country lanes and roads.
After lunch we continue our cycling journey making a stop at Gibson Winery for a wine tasting and enjoy the story of founder Gibbo who has championed the small growers of the Barossa region. Sample fun wines like the Minestrone as well as taste new grape like the Siclian Nero d'Avola.
Later we return our bikes and head to our accommodation to settle in and refresh for dinner out.
Tonight we walk to dinner at Barossa most long established restaurants 1918 Bistro & Grill.

After an early breakfast we take a short drive to Kaiserstul Conservation Park to enjoy a beautiful nature hike with gentle elevation. There is the opportunity to shorten the distance if we have time restraints.
After the hike we return for a quick freshen up and then its off to Maggie Beer Farm for the fabulous Pheasant Farm cooking experience. Be amazed at your chef-fing powers, cooking a delicious three course meal under the expert instruction of a Pheasant Farm chef.
This delightful experience concludes with a long lunch with wine.
After we continue on to Langmeil Winery, and the site of the original "Tanunda" for a wine tasting experience and wonderful history lesson with a local Barossan.
Tonight we enjoy a casual approach to dinner at our accommodation.

Trek: Heysen Trail 10 km
After breakfast we lace up our trekking shoes for a walking and wine adventure on the Heysen Trail. Hans Heysen wandered over 1100 km of trails from Cape Jervis to the Flinders Ranges. Much of his continueous track is now under major roads or highways however you will have the joy of taking this very small section in the Barossan bush. Enroute we make a short 'morning tea' stop for a sparkling wine at Grant Burge and after make our way to the Harvest Kitchen for a wonderful lunch where you will eat like a Barossan!
We plan to depart after lunch for Adelaide at around 2:30pm so we have time for a rest at your lovely luxury hotel right at the city's centre
Tonight we have a treat in store at Afghan restaurant Parwana with a late 8pm booking.

Trek: Adelaide CBD city walk 4 km
The CBD of Adelaide is ringed with green space. A walk amongst this string of parks is a wonderful way to start the day. We will hit the pavement early and enjoy a coffee.

With over 38,000 works of art, the gallery holds the country’s second largest state art collection. Established in 1881, AGSA is known for its impressive collection of Indigenous Australian and colonial art. The gallery is also the only dedicated Islamic gallery space in Australia.
