From day one, everything is taken care of: private transfers whisk you seamlessly between locations, while our itinerary balances the raw beauty of the outdoors with moments of indulgence - a cup of tea in your tent as the sun rises and an appealing bag of GirlsTrek treats to enjoy along the way. Accommodation ranges from five nights in 3-star hotels, where you can unwind and enjoy the local atmosphere, to eight nights of camping in tents, complete with a dining tent for shared meals. It's the perfect blend of adventure and respite.
Balance and Support
GirlsTrek’s Go Wild Peru experience lets you tackle exhilarating challenges without the usual stresses. Our donkey drivers and their well-cared-for donkeys carry your luggage, so you can focus on the landscape and the friendships forming around you. Each evening, our Cook prepares nourishing meals to keep you energised, and we always have emergency horses on standby.
Our adventure begins in Lima with a guided food tour, an introduction to Peru’s vibrant cuisine. Then onward to being our journey to one of the most scenic circuit treks in the world. As we hike through the Huayhuash mountains, expect awe-inspiring vistas, peaceful valleys, and encounters with a landscape that feels as if it’s from a different world.

That’s why GirlsTrek provides a comprehensive at-home training programme to get you ready for the trail, along with expert gear advice and discounts. Your GirlsTrek host will keep you informed and send you motivational reminders about training and preparation. This is all part of the GirlsTrek journey before you have even left for Peru! Before the trek, you’ll be invited to an information get-together, where we’ll discuss how to prepare, what to expect and answer your questions.
To ensure you feel connected and supported even before you set off, you’ll join a private group chat with your fellow trekkers. It’s a space for sharing excitement, getting to know one another, and exchanging tips, so by the time we meet in person, it will feel like greeting old friends.
