Train with a group: it’s more fun!
We all know the saying ‘don’t just talk, you need to walk!’ Well, the good news is that when it comes to fitness it seems that training with others is the way to go. You are less likely to drop off on your regime and in my view, it’s simply more fun!
The Department of Kinesiology at Indiana University did a study on this and found that people who work out alone have a 43% dropout rate. Those who trained with someone else only had a 6.3% dropout rate!
I love a chat and sharing in a common activity is a great connector. The comradery of a group is also a great motivator. You can have a few laughs along the way and support each other.
