A remarkable journey in the Norweign fjordland awaits you. Through personal contacts with a local resident we have crafted a very special trip to showcase the “other worldly” landscapes of searing granite and crystal waters. Commencing from Stavanger our trek visits the famous Pulpit Rock and continues to more secluded reaches away from the crowds. We will take our time to drink in the beautiful views. We have days either side to explore the city of Stavanger and finish the trip in Copenhagen.
Day 1: Stavanger
Arrive Stavanger mid morning, special visit to the home of our Norweign friend and a cosy dinner, overnight in deluxe central city hotel.
Day 2: Preikestolen
20 km warm up trek! with day pack only, visit Preikenstolen (Pulpit rock), and zip line for the brave ones and overnight in beautiful mountain lodge overlooking a pristine lake.
Day 3: Preikestolen to Henjanenibba
8 hour trek, start of our wilderness trek with larger backpacks ascending via a different route to Preikenstolen and on to Hengjanenibba for overnight in hammock tents!
Day 4: Henjanenibba to Florli
8 hour trek, from our hammock tent site amongst fur trees and near by a bubbling pristine stream continue to Overhanging rock and The Jump, ending at a small ferry quay for our boat ride to Florli. Overnight in heritage houses in the village of Florli
Day 5: Florli to Lysefjord camp
8 hour trek up the longest wooden staircase in the world, and out in to the wilderness of the Lysefjord. Overnight in a tipi tent beside a tranquil lake, surrounded by mountains.
Day 6: Lysefjord camp to Kerag
8 hour trek to the famous Kerjag boulder and to the trail finish at Lysebotn and overnight with a local family
Day 7: Lysebotn to Stavanager
Fast ferry return to Stavanger and and afternoon spent exploring this quaint port city with dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in a deluxe city hotel.
Day 8: Flor og Faejre
A visit to the enchanting Flor og Faejre including a return scenic boat ride, tour and delicious lunch with menu from all corners of the world incorporating Stavanger waters seafood. An extraordinary example of one family’s vision.
Day 9: Copenhagen
Travel to Copenhagen and an action packed afternoon exploring the city including canal cruises, and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight accommdation in a luxury hotel converted from a bonds store.
Day 10: Copenhagen
City bike tour around Copenhagen in the morning and free arrangements to take in galleries, museums, parks or wander the interesting streets.
Day 11: Copenhagen
A free morning in Copenhagen and travel to airport for onward journey home.

Total distance: 6 x 8 hour hiking days
Level 4 + – Challenge
This trek will require you to carry a pack weighted with 15 kgs. We will spend 2 nights of the trek in camping style accommodation so we are able to access secluded stretches of the Fjord land. The terrain will be rocky, single tracks and steep in places.
